What we have learned having a puppy in the house
Monday, January 21st, 2008Okay you want to know what else Sunny has learned… more like what we have learned.
Lesson one: Don’t leave the groceries out for any length of time when you get home from shopping.
Reason: Two weeks in a row he got into Mom’s raw ground beef. He got sick the first time.
Lesson two: Keep all socks and underwear out of reach of Sunny.
Reason: You will most likely find them in another part of the house. Forget about losing socks in the dryer, they are under our beds where we cannot reach them.
Lesson three: If Sunny tells you it is time to eat ask the others in the house if he was fed.
Reason: Mom or Dad probably already fed him. It is like having Maggie in the house.
Lesson four: Spray all wires and cables with bitter spray.
Reason: Sunny chewed through the phone cord in the basement. His new nickname is CHEWIE. He even makes a CHEWBACHA sound.
Lesson five: If you don’t want Sunny to take it don’t put it down.
Reason: Dad set the tv remote on the floor this weekend, when he went to the change the channel it was gone. He looked all over for it and finally found that Sunny had picked it up and carried it over to his toys in the den.
