Mom and Dad made it home last night safe and sound. Sunny and I were not expecting them until tonight. No no party planned.
Mom and Dad brought Sunny a stuffed possum for a birthday gift. He really likes it. I will try and remember to get a pic this weekend.
I have determined that Sunny and Molly have something in common. They both have very hard heads and it hurts like heck when they headbutt you.
leave your books on the floor for a pissed off Yorkie Poo named Sunny to find. Yep he rips them to shreds. Who needs a shredder when you have Sunny.
Sunny turned two on Sunday. He ran around the yard and I bought him a chicken (stuffed), he likes it. He threw a ball at me (not because of the chicken).
I did not buy a new car. I have not gone anywhere other that Madison since Vegas. I live a very boring life.
We stayed at the Paris Hotel again.
Tuesday we found the Atomic Testing Museum.
We had a pretty drive to Lake Havaseau in Arizona on Wednesday.
Lake Havaseau’s claim to fame is that the original London Bridge resides there. This why we went there.

I got this nice scare on the way back to Vegas. I was not paying attention, Jnine, Lee and Kathy where talking about this and then I looked up and almost screamed.
Friday night a freind of Jnine’s was nie enough to get us into the Foundation Room at the Madalay Bay Hotel. We were about 62-63 floors up. Very cool.

I fully agree with everyone about how good this movie is. I think this is just what the franchise needed for a reboot.
Also, Who knew that Winona Ryder could play such a quiet character.

I was wrong.
Over the past couple weeks I have heard a weird sound above the apartment and I thought it was the wind. Last night Rich, Robin and Rogan were over for CSI night. Rich and Rogan heard the same sound. Rogan looked up at the ceiling and we determined that there are animals in the attic.
I called maintenance and told them about it. Tonight I after I got home I opened the balcony door to let some fresh air in. Just after 11pm I heard the animal in the attic again and figured I would go over to the office in the morning and follow up on it. A few minutes later I heard a really loud and odd sound outside. It sounded like it was coming from the balcony. So I get up and look out the balcony door and see a racoon about three times the size of Sunny pushing it way out of the attic soffit right in front of my bedroom window. It struggled for a few seconds to pull itself up onto the roof and finally did. I was a little stunned and was not fast enough to get the camera.
To make this better I had a notice on my door when I got home telling me that my apartment is up for village inspection this year. It would be a good idea for them to clear this up before the village comes in and se it.
I will go over to the office in the morning and check on the progress.
For those who don’t already know I broke a tooth last Friday. I have not had any pain. Come to find out I have not had any pain because it was the tooth I had root canal on a few years ago. The last doctor told me I did not need a crown. This doctor tells me I should have at least had a post put in for support of the tooth. If I had the post put in back then this probably wouln’t have happened. Oh, well. Thank you dental insurance and Flex Spending. I would hate to have to pay the whole amount out of pocket.
The doctor gave me my first shot around 9:45 am. It is 6:15 pm and I think it is finally safe to eat dinner.

I am making Bailey’s White Chocolate Creme Brulee for Robin and Rich for tomorrow. Mom gave me a really nice torch for browning creme brulee. This will be the first test. I will let you know how it turns out.

Well the hard drive on the PC was replaced and seems to be working well. The DSL modem has been replaced and seems to be working well.
Sunday after I woke up I tried to go online with my laptop. Yea, the wireless card went bad. I have to contact the comuter company to see about having it replaced. It is still under warrenty. For the time being I have wireless USB adapter plugged into the laptop. Jnine thinks it is me, that the electronics don’t like me right now.
